SAHARA Dew Point Meter Sensor Probe
SAHARA Dew Point Meter Sensor Probe

Every SAHARA Dew Point Meter (SDPM) uses a probe manufactured by a unique, patented process that delivers fast response, superior operating range, and unequaled reliability.

The probe uses a special thin film layer of gold, an aluminum base, and a porous inner layer of aluminum oxide. Water vapor molecules pass through the thin film gold layer and inhabit the pores of the oxide structure. By accurately counting the number of water molecules in the oxide structure, the instrument's electronics acts as a variable impedance device.

The probe is protected by a porous stainless steel housing which is rated for 5000 PSIG.

The probe typically requires an annual recalibration. The probe is supplied with a sample cell. You can connect air to the sample cell from pilot air tubing, any tap from the outlet side of your dryer, or you can install the probe directly to the outlet line. There is a six foot cable supplied with the probe that connects it to the dewpoint meter.
