"Reliable, clean, and dry compressed air is very critical to our painting process, since water and/or oil causes rejected parts due to "fisheyes" and other imperfections. Our Sahara BP-4000 blower purge air dryer has been in operation over 2 years, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The pressure dewpoints have never exceeded -50°F and are usually below -100°F most of the year. We have not experienced any mechanical or electrical failures other than the time we allowed the intake air filter to become clogged. The design and construction of the Sahara dryer obviously makes for a very "maintenance friendly" dryer. We are pleased with the performance and reliability of our Sahara dryer and would recommend it without hesitation. It is obvious to us why Sahara is considered a leader in their industry."
- Engineer, Moulding Company"We have purchased 12 of your air dryers in the past three years. These dryers have worked well for us and have been very functional. They actually perform better than advertised. We routinely generate dry air in the range of -70 to -90 dewpoint which is better than most "bottled" dry air. When compared to other manufacturers the thing that sets your equipment apart from the rest is 'yours works'." - Field Project Manager, Power Company
"This is to let you know that we have been pleased with the performance of our air dryer, Model EP-35. This model has performed well in sub-zero temperatures here in Wyoming. I perform routine maintenance on the system such as, desiccant and elements. I am happy with the system and hope to continue to enjoy a problem-free operation." - Maintenance Manager, Cement Company
“Approximately 3 years ago, we installed a Sahara/Henderson heatless dryer sized for 3,000 SCFM. Since installation, we have had virtually no down time. We did have one leak in an O-ring and this was promptly replaced by the local service people. The dryer has a digital dewpoint controller which does not allow the dewpoint of the air to go above -40°F and also controls the units cycle. From a maintenance standpoint, we appreciate being able to walk over to the dryer and know exactly how it is performing because of the digital readout. The unit seems to be designed with ease of service in mind. It is extremely sturdy and the workmanship and components appear to be top quality. Pressure drop is very low, in the 2 psid range. Should we need another dryer at this facility, I have no problem recommending the purchase of another Sahara dryer.” – Supervisor Mechanical Repairs, Utility Company
“We used to use refrigerated dryers on our HVAC system. We had problems with the old fridge dryers. The traps got plugged up and flooded our air conditioning controls. This shut down the air conditioning in many of our rooms. We bought a Sahara heatless dryer rated for 100 scfm. This dryer works. We haven’t had any problems. It’s one of the best investments this place has ever made and I’m willing to tell anybody.” – Maintenance Engineer, Casino
“As with any new equipment that my plant purchases, we had our doubts at first. But we have now seen first hand that the energy-free heat-of-compression dryer is a very good investment for us. It can operate continuously for a long period, the quality of outlet air is very good, especially, operating costs are very low. We are pleased to recommend the Henderson/Sahara HC series heat-of-compression dryer to any compressed air user who desires dry compressed air with very low costs.” – Chemical Plant
“Since desiccant regeneration in the new air dryer is accomplished using the heat-of-compression, energy consumption to dry the plant air has been substantially reduced. With the heat-of-compression air dryer, which requires no purge air, 100% of compressor capacity is reserved for plant uses. All maintenance problems encountered previously have been eliminated with the heat-of-compression type air dryer.” – Oil Company
“The heat-of-compression air dryer has proven to be reliable and provides adequate energy savings to justify modernizing complete plant air compression facilities. In smaller sizes, such as used at the World Headquarters (two 600 scfm units) energy savings are not as dramatic, but installation of the equipment can be supported on the basis of reduced maintenance costs and improved quality of air.” - Chemical Plant
