Our exclusive control system for the T Series Heatless air dryer, Models T-200 and larger, provides added performance, versatility, and control using the Allen-Bradley Micrologix Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with the Panel-view 300 operator interface panel.

The PLC comes standard with Models T-200 and larger, or it can be purchased as an option for Models T-150 and smaller.

Allen-Bradley Micrologix PLC

• Shows which tower is on-stream and which is regenerating
• Shows time remaining in cycle

• Allows operator to select 8-minute or 4-minute cycle
• Allows operator to select fixed cycle or dewpoint control (dewpoint control applicable only with optional Energy Management System or Dewpoint Demand Controller Series II).
• Shows alarms, including low system pressure and fail-to-depressurize alarm. Additional alarms may be included with other options.

Alarms

A low system pressure alarm may be an indication that a valve has failed or is simply leaking. This is a better and earlier warning than a simple fail-to-shift alarm. Alarm indication is also provided for high regeneration back pressure. If a heatless dryer is to operate at peak efficiency, it must regenerate at atmospheric pressure. If the purge mufflers become clogged over time and allow back pressure in the regenerating tower, then the regeneration efficiency is impaired. Our alarm tells you when you need to clean or replace the mufflers.

Remote alarm contacts are provided for remote alarm indication.

Also optional are the Dewpoint Demand Controller Series II or the Sahara Dew Point Meter.
